That breadth is as much a risk as an opportunity: finding the right manufacturer, with the right documents and the right quality, takes time and experience. MOTTO sources steel products from manufacturers in China; we take your specification, match it with a suitable manufacturer and follow production and shipment. Our customers are construction companies, manufacturers and importers in Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.
Steel products we supply
Sheet and plate. Hot-rolled, cold-rolled, galvanised and pre-painted sheet, in coils or plates. For machine building, roofing and cladding, and general fabrication.
Sections and beams. I and H sections (IPE, HEA, HEB), U channels, angles and flat bar. For steel structures and industrial buildings.
Pipes and hollow sections. Welded and seamless pipe, square and rectangular hollow sections, for structural, installation and fabrication use.
Reinforcing bar and mesh. Ribbed reinforcing bar and welded mesh, to the standard and grade your project requires.

Delivery terms: FOB China, CFR or CIF — to the port you request.
From specification to shipment
- Enquiry: you share the product, standard and grade (e.g. which of the EN, ASTM or GB standards), dimensions, tonnage, port of delivery and the documents you require.
- Manufacturer matching: we identify manufacturers with the production capacity and documentation your request calls for.
- Quotation: we send a quotation covering production time, packing, delivery terms (FOB China, CFR or CIF) and documents.
- Production follow-up: after the order we follow the production process and, on request, arrange an independent inspection.
- Shipment and documents: we make sure the loading, bill of lading and manufacturer certificates (e.g. EN 10204 3.1 certificate) reach you.

Quality and documents
The biggest risk with steel is a mismatch between the documents and the product. That is why, at the quotation stage, we set out in writing which documents will be provided and who will carry out the inspection and at what stage. We include samples, dimensional tolerances and packing conditions in the contract.

Is there a minimum order quantity?
It depends on the product and the manufacturer; we state it in the quotation according to your request.
Which ports do you ship to?
We plan shipment to the port stated in your request.
Can I place a mixed, project-based order?
Yes. For a steel structure project we can source sections, sheet and pipe from different manufacturers and plan them in a single shipment. In that case we track the documents for each item separately and prepare the packing list according to your project’s item numbers.
