Periodic Inspection Service for Construction Machinery

Construction machinery falls under the Machinery Safety Regulation (2006/42/EC). The Regulation covers the technical requirements construction machinery must meet, CE marking and placing on the market. The related standards are published within the scope of the Machinery Safety Regulation.
Turkish legislation contains no provision on the periodic inspection of construction machinery. There is therefore no legal basis for who should carry out periodic inspections or at what intervals. Unlike lifting and conveying machines and pressure vessels, construction machinery is not covered by the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
The standards published in Türkiye for construction machinery are the TS EN 474 series. In addition, there are many standards for the parts and equipment of construction machinery. These are listed below:
