Truck Mixers

A truck mixer carries the concrete prepared at the batching plant to site while mixing it, and keeps its consistency until the moment of discharge. Concrete quality is preserved not only at the plant but also on the road; that is why drum design, hydraulic drive and chassis match matter at least as much as volume when choosing a truck mixer. How to choose a truck mixer

Drum volume. Plant capacity, distance to site and road load limits must be considered together. A large drum is not always efficient: in countries with axle load limits, a drum that cannot run fully loaded wastes part of the investment.

Chassis. Half of a truck mixer’s performance depends on the chassis. Choosing a truck brand whose service and parts are easy to find in the destination country lowers cost over the life of the vehicle. Chinese brands such as Howo/Sinotruk and Shacman are common in Africa and Central Asia; in the Middle East European chassis are also often preferred. We choose the chassis together, according to the region where our customer works.

Drive and controls. The quality of the hydraulic pump and motor keeps the drum turning steadily under load. Controls in the cab and at the rear, the water tank and washing equipment make a difference in daily use.

Wear and maintenance. Drum blades, chutes and the water pump need regular checks. We supply truck mixer spare parts (control box, chute, chute jack, water pump, control cable, etc.) from stock or to order.

Truck mixer and concrete pump together

For companies using a concrete pump, the mixer fleet must match the capacity of the pump. A waiting pump and a waiting mixer are both a cost. For those who want to plan pump and mixers together, we work out with them how many vehicles are needed according to plant capacity and distance to site. For small pours with a single vehicle, a truck mixer pump is also an option.

Export

We can ship truck mixers from Istanbul as complete vehicles or with body and chassis sent separately. Which method is suitable depends on the import rules and port options of the destination country; we settle this at the quotation stage. Before shipment we share an inspection report with photographs.
